The Examination Committee is responsible for the planning, organisation, implementation, and continuous development of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Subspecialty Examination.

Its responsibilities include:

• Development and continuous revision of the annual subspecialty examination in accordance with the examination regulations and curriculum

• Ensuring the quality, relevance, and fairness of examination content

• Coordination and delivery of the subspecialty examination across the different examination sites in collaboration with examiners and local organising teams

• Recruitment, training, and support of examiners and support staff

• Evaluation of the examination process and analysis of examination results to ensure continuous quality improvement

• Ensuring a standardised and objective assessment of candidates

• Correspondence with examination candidates and management of examination-related administrative matters

• Continuous development of the examination format in line with advances in pediatric emergency medicine and medical education
