PEMS POCUS Workshop Switzerland

We are proud to announce the 5th International Bedside Ultrasound Workshop in Pediatric Emergency, Neonatal and Intensive Care Medicine meets PEMS POCUS Workshop Switzerland.The Workshop will take place on 10-11 May 2025 at the University Children’s Hospital, Inselspital, in Berne, Switzerland and is limited to 60 participants.

We are delighted to offer a diverse training alongside with colleagues from Philadelphia (CHOP), Germany, and Switzerland.Lectures provided by international multi-discipline pediatric specialists will describe pediatric bedside ultrasound techniques and highlight relevant literature supporting applications in practice. Hands-on stations will allow learners to practice skills 8 – 9 hours in these two days.

What to expect?

• International faculty

• Short theoretical lectures

• Half of the time, practical exercises in small groups

• Approximately 150 “child models” across all age groups

• Various ultrasound equipment suitable for the use in NICU, PICU, pediatric emergency medicine, and pediatric anesthesia settings will be on site.

We're looking forward to an educational and interactive training day.

The workshop is appropriate not just for physicians who are residents, but also for fellows and different medical specialists. And Bern in May is always worth a visit.
