PEMS POCUS Workshop Switzerland

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are proud to announce the 6^th International Bedside Ultrasound Workshop in Pediatric Emergency, Neonatal and Intensive Care Medicine.

Lectures provided by international multi-discipline pediatric specialists will describe pediatric bedside ultrasound techniques and highlight relevant literature supporting applications in practice. Hands-on stations will allow learners to practice skills 8 hours in these two days.

I would like to emphasize that we will be offering a special neonatology session for the first time in 2026. This means that on the second day, the groups will be separated and our colleagues from neonatology will organize the lectures and hands-on sessions.

It also means that on the second day, the other group will focus more on topics related to pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric intensive care, and pediatric surgery.

This will allow us to meet the demand for more specialization in our course without losing the interdisciplinary component.

The Workshop will take place on 9-10 May 2026 at the University Children’s Hospital, Inselspital, in Berne, Switzerland.

The Workshop is limited to 80 participants.
