Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into security awareness tools for a small company project, and KnowBe4 keeps popping up as the “default” option people recommend. We tested it briefly and it actually looked solid for phishing simulations and training modules, but when I checked pricing it felt a bit heavy for our size. While searching around I saw a mention of a discount here KnowBe4 promo codes which says you can get up to a decent percentage off depending on contract terms. It made me wonder if people actually rely on those kinds of deals or if it’s more of a negotiation thing when you already commit. In real use, does KnowBe4 feel worth the cost long-term, or do most teams try to optimize pricing first?

I’m not using KnowBe4 directly, but I’ve been reading about it because I’m trying to understand what companies actually use for security awareness training. What I notice from different discussions is that most people don’t really talk about it like a “tool they love,” more like something they just implement because it’s standard in the industry. It seems like the main point is compliance and reducing human error rather than having fancy features. I’m still comparing different platforms and trying to figure out if smaller tools can do the same job or if something like KnowBe4 is basically the default for a reason in most workplaces.
